At Ellowes Hall, we get our students to engage with the community to enhance, student learning, boost academic progress and improve attendance by fostering a sense of belonging. It bridges cultural gaps, creates inclusive environments, and provides access to external resources. Additionally, it builds stronger relationships between schools and families, and promotes social responsibility. At Ellowes Hall, our students engage in Care Home Visits, Community Litter Picks, deliver Christmas Hampers, host a Christmas Fayre, visit local hospitals and donate goods to local food banks amongst many other activities. Our students take great pride in doing all of these community-led experiences.
