Year 6 induction to secondary school is crucial for boosting students' confidence, reducing anxiety and ensuring academic success by familiarising our students with new environments, teachers and routines. We deliver an induction programme that boosts confidence, builds independence and introduces new staff to our new cohort of students. We visit 100% of students in their primary school to give them key information about Ellowes Hall and then every student benefits from a two day induction which includes a Parents' Evening. We also host a school residential to Whitemoor Lakes in November to build relationships further through team activities.
